The Story of Olkkari
Olkkari was originated out of deep desire to create a unique experience and ambiance to the restaurant industry, the restaurant staff and customers alike.
Our definition. Dignified yet cozy. Carefree yet ambitious. Surprising yet charming. For leisure and celebration, by yourself or together. Underpinned by a love of food and a great restaurant experience, in the kitchen, bar and lounge.
Renovation of Olkkari
In 2019 the idea was established, in September 2023 the dream team and premises were found. Olkkari’s vision began to build on the well-known restaurant district, one small detail at a time, tickling nostalgia for a different era.
Custom made sofas and a bespoke bar counter – are the fruits of founders vision, bringing an authentic feel to the space. Here, time seems to stand still as every hue and glimmer of light welcomes you in.
Artworks by local artists adorn the walls, adding depth and story to the space. Olkkari is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience – a time capsule that takes you on a journey through history and the present.
This is how Olkkari came to life – as a unique living room in the city, telling a new story with every visit.

What we’re looking for:
Strong knowledge of wines and the ability to recommend memorable taste experiences
Experience in the restaurant industry and a proactive mindset
Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed guest expectations
We offer comprehensive training, and employment starts as soon as we find the right candidate.
